How we use your information

Your data is used to provide personalized career insights, journaling continuity, application materials, and product support. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing.

AI processing

Koru uses AI services to transcribe, summarize, and analyze the professional information you choose to provide. AI-generated insights are stored only to support your product experience, and you can delete your data from the app.

• Google Vertex AI processes text and audio for transcription, document extraction, and career analysis.
• Production AI features are configured for selected Google Cloud EU regional endpoints unless an explicitly experimental preview model requires another supported location.

Data storage and transfers

Koru uses trusted infrastructure providers for database, authentication, hosting, and AI processing. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

• Convex stores application data and provides encryption in transit and at rest.
• Clerk handles authentication and user management.
• Vercel hosts the public web and app frontends.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal data. You can manage product data in the app or contact us for help.
