What this page covers
Koru uses AI to help you turn your own career information into structured notes, patterns, and draft materials. This page explains the main AI-supported features in plain language. It does not replace the Privacy Policy or Terms of Service.
Where AI appears
- Career journal entries can be summarized, tagged, and turned into skills, achievements, STAR stories, and review evidence.
- Uploaded or pasted career information can be parsed to help build CV drafts, cover letters, interview notes, and fit snapshots.
- Company briefs and application packs may combine your saved career context with public company or role information.
- Search and matching features may use AI to find relevant moments from your own history.
What you control
- You choose what to add to Koru and what to delete.
- AI outputs are drafts and suggestions. Review them before sending, publishing, or relying on them for a decision.
- Application packs, CV drafts, cover letters, and interview notes stay private unless you choose to share them.
- You can request help with export or deletion through the privacy inbox.
Data and model use
Your journal is used to generate your own product outputs. Koru does not sell your personal information or use your journal to train AI models. Production AI processing uses Google Vertex AI, with selected EU regional endpoints where supported.
Limits
AI can misread context, miss nuance, or produce outdated information when public sources are involved. Treat generated content as a starting point, not a final answer.
